ESAC Youth Opportunity Collaborative (EYOC)

We’re enrolling students aged 16-24!

Since 1998, the Youth Opportunity Collaborative program (previously known as GEDPlus) has been providing out-of-school youth with basic education and high school equivalency test preparation. We have assisted over 400 youth with earning the HiSet (formerly GED) diploma and access college, and helped 100s more vocational training and employment in their effort to secure better life outcomes for themselves and their families. During sessions, students learn the HISET core competencies of English Language Arts – reading and writing, Mathematics, Social Studies and Science.

Classes are scheduled from 11-2pm, Monday-Thursday.

Classes are held at: Hope Central Church, 85 Seaverns Ave, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130

EYOC provides students with access to:

  • Weekly training to learn more about different student interests and career options including field trips and on-site access to partnering agencies

  • Computer training and access to Chromesbooks for those that need them

  • Distance Learning with options to accelerate learning

  • A caring and supportive staff who want all students to succeed and meet their goals
